No, and in most cases it improves. Classes are one-on-one, paced from what your child can already do, and the coach is trained to keep the session a win. There is no cold-call, no timed pressure in front of peers, and no penalty for getting something wrong in the room it has to be gotten wrong in.

Yes. The level map follows the US curriculum, and the coach aligns each term to what your child is covering in class. You can flag a unit, a test, or a topic the week of, and the coach will pull it forward.

Yes. The coach sets a small amount of targeted practice after each class, mostly on our platform. If your child works better on paper, the coach will print or hand-write the week's set instead. About 15 minutes a day, four days a week.

Roughly two hours of live class per week. Practice between classes is short and focused, and can be done on paper if you’d prefer to limit screen time.

You can reschedule with at least 12 hours' notice, at no cost. Missed classes without notice count as used, since the coach was on the clock. The unused-classes refund policy still applies to anything cancelled inside the window.

You’ll need a laptop or desktop with a webcam, a stable internet connection, and a quiet place to learn. A writing tablet is strongly recommended for K–2 and for students working on geometry, algebra, or graphing.

Yes. You can pause for up to 30 days at a time, twice a year, from your parent dashboard. Your coach and your child's place on the level map are held for the full pause.

The first signs of progress are often increased confidence and stronger problem-solving skills, sometimes within the first month. Grades and test scores typically follow as your child's understanding grows. The MathFit™ Assessment at the end of each term shows progress across fluency, understanding, application, and reasoning.

Yes, through the Competition Track. It covers AMC 8/10, Math Kangaroo, MATHCOUNTS, MOEMS, and the SAT/ACT math. Cuemath students have placed 2,500+ times across these competitions. The track is opt-in and layered on top of the regular program.

Yes. We work with homeschool families across all 50 states. The plan can be set against your scope and sequence instead of a school curriculum, and we can provide session notes and progress records to support your portfolio if you need them.
